Sire: Shamardal (USA) – Dam: Amathia (IRE)

Helian is a 5-year-old bay gelding by the sire Shamardal who was a champion 2-year-old, hugely talented 3-year-old winning the French Guineas & Derby, a family of Street Cry and is an excellent sire and is out of the mare Amathia

Helian is a lightly raced gelding and already a two-time winner, his recent win only 3 starts back winning a 0-75 very easily by 2 ½ lengths and on his last run in a 0-90 finishing a very close 3rd when not quite getting the run of the race at Sandown Park.

He has the scope to go from the flat to hurdles, the plan would be to continue his flat campaign before looking to go into novice hurdles next season.
