Getoverthathill is a 7-year-old bay gelding by the sire Getaway who was high class over 1m 4f – 1m 7f from 3-6 years inc Group 1 in Germany & Jockey Club stakes excellent NH Sire

He has been given plenty of time between his first couple of races to grow and strengthen which has benefited hugely with his impressive win in a P2P by 12 lengths. He was purchased from the prestigious Cheltenham sales, which only figures high class P2P or recent winning horses in training, a very select sale.

GETOVERTHATHILL (IRE) is a son of Getaway who showed no little stamina to get off the mark at the third attempt here in tough conditions. Always going well in mid-division, with the strong pace finding many of his rivals out. He found himself moving into a challenging position on touching down four out. With the leader in his sights from three out, the bay readily drew on from before two out and in all truth could be called the winner from that juncture as all his rivals in behind were spent forces. A sound-jumping sort, he is clearly going the right way after a solid initial effort last season and with further progress likely forthcoming to accompany his assured stamina. He should be able to get off the mark inside the rails once sent handicapping.
