What is a Racing Club?

Racing Clubs offer a cost-effective way to experience the thrill of ownership. It also provides a way to meet new friends and experience racing from the inside. A racing club is set up and the club is the owner of the horse. Members of the club will have no ownership rights.

Bloodstock Ownership

All Bloodstock is solely owned outright by Mr. Stephen Bean T/A Racehorse Ownership Club, shares are offered purely on the racehorse’s performance during the yearly term, there is no bloodstock entitlement within the share certificate.

Shares and Winnings

Any winnings your horse earns will be paid out in line with the percentage of your share after usual trainers/jockeys percentage. All winnings will be paid out at the end of the term.

  • All shares are sold on a first come, first served basis. maximum number of shares = 10.

  • Gift shares can be placed in another name.
  • The share price is for one whole share.

The share certificate lasts for a whole year from the date of purchase and ends at the year anniversary.

As a shareholder you will receive throughout the year the following entitlement along with some standard terms:

  • A chance to visit the stables and see your horse.
  • Option to purchase further shares on any of the horses available.
  • A percentage share of the winnings at the end of the year after usual trainer/jockey’s fees are deducted, this is the capital value of the horse amount that you paid which gives you a share of the winning’s entitlement.
  • At the end of the term an option to renew at a discounted rate.
  • There will be no additional costs no matter what throughout the yearly term.
  • You have decided to participate in Racehorse Ownership purely for the purpose of fun and enjoyment.

  • We aim to have horses in training that can win, if we decide that it is beneficial to sell or retire the horse due to veterinary advise then it is the sole owner of the horse who will have the final say.
  • We strongly belief in the horse’s welfare and will always look to finding a home when a horse’s career has ended.

No extra cost will be incurred throughout the year no matter what extra costs we incur.
